2017 has ended which means it’s time for a recap! Last year has been an exciting one for us! Very many cool projects, eventful happenings and wonderful people we’ve met during this year. To start the new year we would like to take you on a short time machine trip to many Dutch Rose Media happenings of 2017…
Projects to be proud of!
2017 was a year with many new technologies and new experiments for us! Geo-based navigating, AR mini games, face filters, working with ARKit and ARCore, improving 3D skills, new kinds of usability… All these new things led to innovative projects (for bigger clients) that we’re very, very proud of. Our intern Dan created a wonderful video showing a selection of projects of 2017. Of course we are proud of all the projects we did this year, take a look at our portfolio to see all of them.

Besides all the neat projects we did this year, many other fantastic things happened as well. Here’s just a small selection of all these wonderful happenings: we renovated the Dutch Rose office, we won a Dutch VR Award for the Herleef Huize Bergen route, Natasja got interviewed by several TV stations, we had a great bunch of interns in 2017 (even with a special hackathon team!), we got interviewed for an article featured in Binnenlands Bestuur, our blog and website received a special place in the Top 50 Best Augmented Reality websites, we’ve created our first Facebook Face Filters, we had a great short trip to the Efteling with the Dutch Rose team, we supported Tosca in creating a cool Augmented searching canvas for schools, we facilitated MANY workshops for a great variety of businesses and we ended the year with our annual Christmas dinner. Let’s hope 2018 will bring many more wonderful events!
